The Muktinath Yatra is one of the most revered pilgrimages for both Hindus and Buddhists. Situated in Nepal’s Mustang district at an altitude of 3,710 meters, Muktinath—often called the Temple of Salvation—is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is regarded as one of the eight sacred shrines (Swayam Vyakta Kshetras) where devotees believe liberation (moksha) from the cycle of birth and rebirth can be attained.
For Hindus, performing the sacred rituals of bathing under the 108 holy water spouts (Muktidhara) and taking a dip in the two sacred ponds (Mukti Kunda) is believed to cleanse all sins. For Buddhists, Muktinath holds equal importance as the place where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated, spreading the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism.
At Comfort My Travel, we ensure your spiritual journey to Muktinath is smooth, safe, and enriching—combining expert planning, comfortable travel arrangements, and local guidance to make your pilgrimage truly memorable.

The ideal months for the Muktinath Yatra are March to June and September to November, when weather conditions are pleasant, skies are clear, and the temple is most accessible.
